The check engine light was on. It was determined that a part was bad. It was replaced and covered under warranty so not cost to me. That was fantastic! The car was checked over and everything was geeen except one tire that we already knew about. However, the brakes weren’t checked at all. That part was greyed out on the paperwork. That’s unfortunate for you because I think I need front brakes and probably would have made an appointment to have it done there. Now I will have to take it somewhere else for a brake check and they will probably get the business.
This week's visit was very good. Jason was very attentive, as was the mechanic. Fixed my car, and didn't make hubby wait all day, matter of fact - quicker than expected. :) kuddos However..... I am still VERY upset about Haley selling my information my last trip there. I do not appreciate having other companies trying to sell me stuff - and knowing when my vehicle was serviced, what I drive, my personal info!! Even though I wrote to Haley, and discussed this incident over the phone, no one from Haley ever contacted me. Disgusted. If Capital hadn't treated us very well before being purchased by Haley, we wouldn't have carried the car for repairs this week. There are many places to get vehicles serviced. Haley needs to understand that, and to treat their customers as such. Since the service manager (that came from Capital) is now gone, service has gone down the tube. So, pleasantly surprised by this week's visits.
While Charlie Brown was out on medical leave, Charlie told me to check with his Manager, I did and he connected me with Corey Chapman, ended up buying an Impala and was thoroughly impressed, it was getting late, around 8:50, I think they closed at 9 and Corey was answering my questions that I had about the car, the parking brake, the radio, the Apple I-phone connection and had all the answers, I apologized that I was keeping him late, Corey said that it was his job to answer my questions and to make sure I was satisfied, and I was, this was the third car I purchased from Haley, I use there Service Department and I know Chris Seaver from Capital Chevrolet in Powhatan and he continues to go above and beyond to help. Overall, very impressed
