I brought my Silverado for its 15K service. I also noted to service rep that I received an email notice from Chevrolet regarding an issue with my air bag system. I gave a copy of the email to the service rep and asked for it to be checked out. It was not when I inquired about it. The service rep said it wasn’t checked but diagnostics would have discovered it if an issue was there. My warranty ends st the end of this month, and he said if I have an issue between now and then to quickly check it out. I advised that since I reported this that I want it noted so that it goes beyond the warranty period if I experience an issue. I can’t say that he noted it. The service rep’s lack of concern and checking this issue is disappointing to me.
